Portal for integrated data dissemination (NA7)

This network will develop a unified, single portal to disseminate European-Mediterranean seismological data. More specifically, we will develop the general portal concept (prototype) and the software agents layer in coordination with other activities and European and global initiatives. The work will be done in close collaboration with NA9 (Data IT Service) which will concentrate on the technical implementations.

Developments
In close collaboration with NA9 we documented a portal development strategy and chose a specific technology. Concrete collaboration has been established with the Earthscope portal project in the US. Other collaborations with groups in the US, like GEON, and Europe are being set-up. The meetings within both NA7 and NA9 can be attended by others within or outside the consortium.
