Portal for integrated data dissemination (NA7)
This network will develop a unified, single portal to disseminate European-Mediterranean seismological data. More specifically, we develop the general portal concept (Seismic data portal) and the software agents layer in coordination with other activities and European and global initiatives. The work is done in close collaboration with NA9 (Data IT Service) which will concentrate on the technical implementations.
Developments
In close collaboration with NA9 we documented a portal development strategy and chose a specific technology. Concrete collaborations have been established with the Earthscope portal project in the US and a number of groups in Europe. The meetings within both NA7 and NA9 can be attended by others within or outside the consortium. If you are interested, please contact the NERIES Project Office.
